Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pristine Light Photobooth LLC (“Pristine Light,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website, services, and related offerings.
By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from accessing or using our website or services.

1. Use of Services

Pristine Light Photobooth LLC provides luxury photo booth experiences, including DSLR photobooth rentals, event photography, and related enhancements (e.g., AI portraits, floral backdrops, branded templates).
By engaging our services, you agree to use all provided equipment responsibly, follow the instructions of our attendants, and ensure guest conduct aligns with safety and professional standards.

2. Booking & Payment Terms

  • Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate event details, including date, time, and venue.
  • Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via Zelle (hello@pristinelightphotobooth.com), Venmo (@PristineLightPhotobooth), or cash.
  • Outstanding Balances: Services will not be rendered if payment is incomplete.
  • Additional Hours: May be purchased at $275 per hour, billed in full-hour increments.
  • Travel Fees: Events beyond the Chicago Metro area may incur additional travel costs as detailed in our travel policy.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • Cancellations: Must be submitted in writing via email.
  • Deposits: Non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Cancellations 30+ Days Before Event: Client forfeits deposit only.
  • Cancellations Within 30 Days: Full payment is due.
  • Rescheduling: Requests must be received at least 30 days prior to the original date and are subject to availability.
  • Provider Cancellations: In the rare event that Pristine Light cancels, all funds paid will be refunded in full. Refunds may take up to 14 business days to process.

4. Use of Photobooth & Equipment

  • The Client assumes responsibility for guest behavior and safe use of all photobooth equipment and props.
  • The Client agrees to provide adequate power supply (110V outlet) and a 10×10 ft flat area for setup.
  • Outdoor events must include proper cover or tent to protect equipment from weather conditions.
  • Any damage or tampering caused by guests or venue staff may result in a repair or replacement fee.

5. Content Ownership & Media Use

By using Pristine Light’s photobooth services, you and your guests grant Pristine Light permission to:

  • Capture and store images, GIFs, and videos taken during the event.
  • Use select photos or videos for marketing purposes (social media, website, promotional materials), only with the Client’s written consent.
  • Clients may opt out of promotional use at any time by emailing hello@pristinelightphotobooth.com.

6. Liability & Indemnification

Pristine Light Photobooth LLC will exercise reasonable care and diligence in delivering services. However:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income, data, or event impact, resulting from service use, malfunction, or delays beyond our control.
  • The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pristine Light Photobooth LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from guest behavior, misuse of equipment, or use of event photos.

7. Insurance & Safety

Pristine Light Photobooth LLC maintains General Liability Insurance up to $1,000,000 and can provide proof of insurance to venues upon request with 7 business days’ notice.
We reserve the right to suspend or halt operations if the event environment poses risks to staff or equipment.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design materials, and images featured on the Pristine Light Photobooth website and marketing materials are the exclusive property of Pristine Light Photobooth LLC.
Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without written permission is strictly prohibited.

9. Privacy & Data

All client and guest data are processed according to our Privacy Policy.
By booking our services, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and limited use of personal information as described in our policy.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, power failures, strikes, illness, or transportation issues.
If such circumstances prevent service delivery, the Client will receive a prorated refund or the opportunity to reschedule.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cook County, Illinois. Each party shall bear its own legal costs.

12. Modifications to Terms

Pristine Light Photobooth reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
